Joe Cooke had worked in the heating and cooling industry for 10+ years for both large contracting companies to small family owned businesses. He gained experienced, learned from some of the best in the industry, and grew his skills throughout that time.

But sometime around 2009, something happened that changed his perspective forever.

Late one night around 2am, coming back from a 14hr+ shift, he drove several hours all the way back to his home in Johnston, Ontario to see his family. As soon as he pulled up in his driveway, he gets a call – we need you back on site. Two hours away.

At that time he knew he needed a change.

Something where he gets more time to spend with his kids and in his community, and less time on the road. He knew if he just went to another company, he could fall into the same situation.

So he started 613 Mechanical Systems.

As a hard-working and honest man, Joe has focused his company since day one on trust, transparency, and putting in quality work for his customers. He and his team are providing heating, cooling, and air quality services throughout Ottawa and Eastern Ontario, with the goal to make things simple during stressful situations.
